HOLY TOFU

I haven't posted since Feb and I'm sorry friends.
I've been sooo busy.
1) Every day leisure day off I've been catching up on yardwork.
2) I've been working 40+ hours a week at work.
3) I started working out at the gym and I'm getting very toned.
4) I lost another 12 pounds, total of 16 pounds since I've started in early Feb CR.
5) I don't follow the CR diet strictly, but for the most part my physical trainer tells me I need to eat more small meals and more food to lose more weight.
6) I have been eating under 1200 calories a day.

Life is good. I'm growing an organic garden. I've gotten swiss chard, romaine lettuce, leaf lettuce, strawberries (not very good), turnips, snow peas, onions, raddishes and this weekend I'm planting tomatoes, cantaloupe and whatever i can think of. I havent seen any kale seeds but i should plant that. Kale and broccoli are cold weather veggies. I should of planted that earlier this year.

I love my veggies. CR is great except I feel a bit nauseous lately and it is because i dont eat enough. Do any of you feel sick/dizzy/nauseous when you dont eat on time?

Busy Busy Busy

Maybe I'm not eating enough, but I feel really exhausted everytime i do CR.
Breakfast: 3/4 cups egg whites
Coffee 60 calories
Snack: Almonds 6 pieces
Lunch: Chicken + Broccoli= 300 calories
Snack: Coffee 60
Blueberry tea 0
Dinner: 1/2 cup egg whites Broccoli

Today I worked along day. I saw about 17 patients today. Im exhausted.

After work my husband and I went to lowes to pick up garden stuff. I cant wait til this summer. Tomorrow we're planting strawberries and i bought more black cow fertilizer. I already planted swiss chard, romaine lettuce, onions, green beans and broccoli.
I
m going to ask my patient on Friday if its okay to plant blueberry plants, rasberry, blackberry etc. She's a master nurserywoman and Im not familar with gardening because this is my first year doing it. Usually my father in law will plant his garden around his small house.Now its our turn because we've been working on our 1 acre these past 6 months.

Im exhausted. I think ineed to eat more but ih avent been hungry.

BUSY

I've been sooo busy and im sorry cr friends!
I lost 10 lbs on CR but i fell off the cr diet for a while ~3 days. However im back onto my regime.

On top of that, my 2 year old is sick and my mother in law had breast cancer. She's out of surgery and back at home! She has a check up tomorrow and she's doing really well- we caught it early.
Plus, im trying to get a construction loan to build ahouse and run our clinic.
Ive been really busy.
For last 3 days i didnt eat much and i probably ate very unhealthy and less than 600 calories.
Ive just been really stressed out lately.
Today's nutrition:
Breakfast: coffee 60 calories
Lunch: almonds + orange
DInner: orange and some chicken
Now im drinking abeer 200 calories

i havent eaten much and its not very nutritious
O well- life goes on and ill get back strick with cr when things cool down.

hi

Hi Friends, Im sorry that i havent posted in awhile. Ive been so busy.

I fell off the CR diet on Sunday. I was really upset because i indulged in KFC :( Boo Hoo~
Sunday: Breakfast= egg whites, garlic + tomato= 119 calories
Lunch: 2oz ham lean + tomato + cheese+ balsamic vinegar= 70+69+35+5= 179 calories
Dinner= Two pieces of KFC ~ 600 calories + bad bad bad coleslaw
I know it wasnt nutrition. I have no excuses for myself. I did do 5 hours of manual labor (yard work) that day. I have no excuse for eating badly.

Today im back on CR.
Breakfast= coffee 60 calories
Snack: blueberries with cottage cheese: 160 calories
Lunch: 4 oz baked chicken ~ 400 calories
Snack: cheese 35 calories
Dinner: 4 oz chicken + 1/2 cup steamed broccoli + 1/2 cup of green beans

I didnt calculate it because i was too lazy. However i know i underate and i did not have enough nutritional values today.
I also had no breakfast cus i was disgusted with myself for having kfc and decided to fast. I was so busy at work i forgot iwas hungry most of the day.

Busy

I've been so busy and its hard for me to post everyday esp when it comes to calorie counting.

TOday i did great- i added some whole wheat bread to my morning but still able to stay undercontrol. At work i ate some grill chicken with broccoli. Lunch was free from a drug rep and i did excellent with resisting those brownies:)
of coursei had my snacks etc etc.
Ill post later what i ate but i know i stayed under 1000 calories.

Living with a Non-cron

Its very hard to live with a non-cronnie. I find it very difficult.
For instance, my husband, baby and I went to Sprouts (health food store). On the way there they stopped at Sonic. He munched on a burger- half price night tuesday and the baby ate a corn dog.
I just drank my water.

On top of that, I noticed if idont eat enough protein i start to feel hungier.
At the grocery store I wanted to eat everything and i had to purchase a bottle of water to consume.

Sprouts has a sale- Kale for 99 Cents/lb. Really cheap right?
Except Im not a kale kind of person.

Im tired- maybe that's why im hungry again or it could of been 3 hours of yard work we did this evening:P

Another Day

I have poor gramatical skills. I misspell words and i cant write properly.

Here's my calorie count for the day:
Breakfast: Egg whites, one garlic + 1/4 tomato~100 calories
Snack: Coffee with creamer: 60 calories + Small clementine 60 calories
Lunch: TUrkey Sandwich- i estimate it around 500 calories- its a six inch sub from subway but i added veggies on it and stuff. So im just giving myself an extra 100 just incase
Dinner: Shrimp boiled (60) + my yogurt dip~150
Snack: Some cheese 155 calories
Total: 1085 calories
Plus my flax seed oil and my multivitamin

Temptation

Tonight i made some riata homemade style-fat free. In plain yogurt cup- fat free i mixed in some tomato chunks, onions and small slices of cucumber + small dash of salt.

I cant wait to eat it tomorrow. Maybe ill make some grilled chicken kabobs for lunch. Im not sure. Im so jealous of watching my husband down another piece of cake. *sigh*
Today i worked out at work. I run a outpatient rehab clinic. My PT Tech is superduper exercise fanatic. I have no desire to exercise like i used to. Pre-marriage and pre-pregnancy i used to work out 2 -3 hours a day, 7 days a week. I used to havea nice body. i was always physically exhausted.
This time around i dont have the time nor energy to do 2-3hrs/day. Today i walked on the treadmill 3mph at 3.5 incline. Not too hard but nice.

Tomorrow im off work but i have to go into a meeting. The rest of the day is 3 hours of yard work. Yay! its exciting.

Today's My first Entry

Today's my first entry. I've heard about CRONS ~ 2 years ago but i could never start it. I was pregnant and I was breastfeeding.

I want to live til 120+
Anyhow Its been 10 days of CRONS.
Breakfast: Coffee + Veggie Dog (160)
Snack: 1 CUp Cottage Cheese+ Small Clementine (140) with Blue Berry Tea
Lunch: Tofu with Spinach (150)
Snack: Almonds (50 calories) and Small piece of Dark Chocolate (70 calories) + Green Tea
Dinner: Veggie Soup with Chicken (400 calories)
I also take my flax seed three times a day with my multivitamin
So far 970 calories
I usually eat less than 1200 calories a day. Im not sure what i'll be having later

Right now i look at sugar and im so tempted. For instance, its my Mil's bday tomorrow and she has this huge cake (home made) sitting on the counter. She already had 3 slices, my husband had a huge slice, my baby ate one slice and my fil had 2 slices. I want apiece. I dont need sugar and i'm sure it will set me back like 300 calories.

ALso yesterday iwas at Papadeaux (Sp?), i ordered a dozen raw oysters and everyone else had a plate full of fried shrimp, fries and fried fish. i was sooo tempted. I wanted some artery clogging food.

Perhaps the longer im on CRONS, the less temptation i'll be around fried foods.
